Old Railway Station
From Agrinio to Kryoneri the train was loading wagons to ship with rails for transporting them in Patras and the exact opposite. And of course vice versa. The names of these ships was "Calydon". The ship "Calydon" began its service in 1891 and made the transport Patras - Kryoneri. There was the train that was taking passengers carried by "Calydon" and go to Agrinio. The "Calydon" had run many years because there was no other means of transportation to take this route. Later Rio-Antirio ship communication became the next way of transportation.
