Museum Vaso Katraki
The "Engraving Art Center - Museum Vaso Katraki", is a public entity falling under the municipality Holy City Messolonghi, according to Pat. Nos. Oik.36281 decision of the Interior Ministry, issued on August 4, 2011.
The construction was done with funding and supervision of the Ministry on a plot of about 25 acres ceded by the Municipality.
The building has two floors with such a configuration, to show that the museum is built on a hill. In the upper part is made museum which occupies an area of about one thousand square meters and includes a reception hall (200 sqm) and either side of the two rooms (400 sqm each), which works out. It also includes a number of auxiliary rooms such as offices, toilets etc.
The museum was inaugurated on 25 June 2006 and was an important cultural event both for the county and for Greece in general. Attended at least 1500 people of which 1000 came from Athens, Thessaloniki, Ioannina etc.
